SCEC Services

ARA Security locksmiths are approved by the Australian Government Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) to provide the specialist locksmith services to high security facilities such as defence agencies, international embassies, police stations, correctional facilities and other government departments.

The SCEC approved locksmith scheme provides government agencies with locksmiths and safe technicians who have demonstrated the necessary skills and met high standards of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality. The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) – T4 administers the scheme on behalf of the SCEC and provides protective security advice for Australian Government agencies.

Using SCEC endorsed products, ARA Security SCEC approved locksmiths:

• maintain mechanical and digital combination locks fitted to SCEC approved containers (listed in the SEEPL).
• install locks and associated hardware in PSPF & DSPF Security Zones 4 and 5.
• provide approved locksmiths who maintain a national security clearance to NV2.
• supply, deliver, install, service, maintain and support mechanical locks, restricted keying systems, intelligent electronic access control systems, and integrated solutions.
• understand the PSPF and DSPF zoning requirements and can provide you with appropriate advice relating to your physical and mechanical locksmithing requirements.
• design a master key system tailored to your needs.
• assist to keep track of who has your keys through the world’s most advanced key management solutions.
